As part of an ongoing Garda operation investigating the activities of dissident republicans in Co. Donegal three (3) males were arrested.
In relation to previous release 451A/08 below, please note that the third man who was being detained at Letterkenny Garda Station, was released at 8.40pm this evening - Friday 4th April 2008.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

In relation to the 3 males who were arrested on the evening of the 1st of April 2008 as part of an ongoing Garda operation investigating the activities of dissident republicans in Co Donegal, (Previous release 439A/08 below refers), two of the men have been released this evening Friday, 4th April 2008.
Files will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The third man remains in custody in Letterkenny Garda Station.
As part of the on-going investigation further searches will be carried out tomorrow in the Raphoe area of Donegal.
There is no further information at this time but updates will be provided in due course.

As part of an ongoing Garda operation investigating the activities of dissident republicans in Co. Donegal three (3) males were arrested on the 1st of April 2008.
They are detained at Garda stations in Co. Donegal under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act. They may be detained for up to 72 hours.
When new information becomes available further press releases will be issued.
