Gardaí at Ballymun are investigating a serious assault that occurred at Shangan Road, Dublin.
The two men who were arrested in connection with the assault in Ballymun (Previous release 553/08 below refers), both appeared in court this afternoon at 4.30pm and were charged with Assault Causing Harm.
They are currently remanded in custody to appear in Cloverhill Court next Wednesday, 30th April 2008. They were 32 years and 23 years old respectively.

Gardaí at Ballymun are investigating a serious assault that occurred at approximately 10pm on the 25/4/08 on Shangan Road, Ballymun, Dublin.
A 16 year old male received severe head injuries when he was assaulted by 2 males.
The 2 men in question were arrested and are presently detained under section 4 of The Criminal justice Act at Ballymun and Santry Garda Stations.
The injured party is in intensive care in the Mater Hospital where his condition is described as being critical.
There is no further information available at this time.
