Gardai from Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda stations carried out searches 16 houses and apartments in the Bluebell area of Dublin.
As part of an operation targeting serious crime and the distribution of illegal drugs, Gardai from Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda stations carried out searches on the 11th of April 2008, at sixteen (16) houses and apartments in the Bluebell area of Dublin.
In the course of of the searches a quantity of heroin and cocaine as well as a large amount of assorted tablets were recovered.
Subject to analysis the drugs may have a street value of at least €60,000.
Two males were arrested as part of the operation and they are detained at Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda Stations under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
The operation is ongoing and any further details will be released when they become available.
