Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the main Carrick On Shannon to Mohill Road.
Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at 8.50 pm on the 27th of April.
A 33 year old motorcyclist, John Mee of Mohill, Co Leitrim was fatally injured when his motorcycle was in collision with an SUV on the main Carrick On Shannon to Mohill Road, Leitrim, the R201.
The body of the dead man was removed to Sligo General Hospital where a post mortem examination was due to be carried out today.
The roadway at the scene of the crash is now open following technical examination by Garda Forensic Crash Scene investigators.
