Fatal fire at Tramore, Waterford on the 11/4/08

A woman in her 40's has died following a fire at a house at Herons Hill, Knockduff, Tramore, Co Waterford.

A woman in her 40's has died following a fire at a house at Herons Hill, Knockduff, Tramore, Co Waterford. 

The fire was discovered at about 11.45pm. 

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor at shortly after 1am. 

Another person a male in his 40's was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital suffering from what is believed to be smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
