Explosion under a car parked in the driveway of a house on Glenhill Avenue, Finglas, Dublin.
Shortly before 2am on the 26/4/08 a telephone call was received at Finglas Garda Station stating that there had been an explosion under a car parked in the driveway of a house on Glenhill Avenue.
On arrival at scene Gardaí from Finglas located a pipe bomb device that had exploded under the car.
The car was damaged but the house was not and there was no injuries to any persons.
There were 4 occupants in the house at the time.
The scene was sealed off and preserved.
Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made to date.
