Gardaí searched a premises in Hillcrest Business Park, Greenhills Road, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.
As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in Dublin City Gardaí searched a premises in Hillcrest Business Park, Greenhills Road, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.
The search took place at approximately 3pm on the 23/4/08 and it was carried out by the South Central Crime Task Force under Operation Anvil.
During the course of the search 1 kg of heroin was seized. This seizure has an estimated street value of €200,000, subject to analysis.
A number of other items were also recovered in the search including an Ifor Williams trailer which had been stolen in Duleek 2 years ago.
No arrests have been made to date and investigations are continuing.
The Garda National drugs Unit and the Detective Unit of Harcourt Terrace assisted in this operation.
