Gardai from Ronanstown have seized approximately 108Kg of what is believed to be cannabis resin.
A drug seizure was made at approximately 5.15am on Fonthill Road,Clondalkin, Dublin.
The searches were carried out by members of the District Drugs Unit assisted by uniformed members from Ronanstown Garda Station.

Gardai from Ronanstown have seized approximately 108Kg of what is believed to be cannabis resin with an approximate street value of €800,000 pending analysis. 62Kg of what is believed to be cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €750,000 was also seized.
Quantities of the drugs were initially discovered in bushes on the Fonthill Road in Clondalkin. Follow-up searches in the area lead to the discovery of the remainder of the drugs in a motor-van which has been seized for technical examination.
An 18-year old man was arrested near the scene, and is currently being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
The investigation is continuing.
