Drug seizure at Newmarket-on-Fergus, Clare on the 15/4/08.

As part of a planned search on waste ground at Carrigoran, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare on the 15th April 2008, Gardai have seized what is believed to be cocaine with an estimated street value of €170,000 depending on analysis. 

The search was carried out at approximately 7.00pm on the 15/4/08 by members of the Divisional Drugs Unit assisted by uniformed members from Shannon, Ennis and Newmarket-on-Fergus. 

Investigations are continuing.
