As a result of the search a large quantity of drugs were seized in Dublin.
The 4 men detained at Pearse Street Garda Station, as a result of a drug seizure on the 10/4/08 at Pearse Square, will appear before Dublin District Court 44 on the 12/4/08 at 10.30am charged in relation to the incident.

As a result of the search a large quantity of drugs was seized, and the four male occupants of the car, aged 43 years, 47 years, 23 years, and 24 years were arrested.
They are currently being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
Early estimates indicate that a total of 8 Kilos of what is believed to be cocaine (pending analysis) which has a potential street value of €2.3 million was seized from the car.
Searches are continuing and further developments will be reported.
