Bray Air Display on the 23 + 24/7/16

Traffic advice

The Bray Air Display will take place on Saturday 23rd July and Sunday 24th July.  The following is the advice to be given to motorists attending the event:

Saturday 23rd July 2016

There will be traffic restrictions in the location of the Event and parking for the event for all traffic is at the IDA Business Park Southern Cross Road Bray.  Take Junction 7 (Bray South) and follow signposts for Greystones.  A shuttle bus will be in operation from the Car park during the course of the event.  The old Dell Car Park (Boghall Road) will also be available but this will not be serviced by shuttle bus.

There will be traffic restrictions on roads approaching the Seafront:
 
Seapoint Road – Quinnsborough Road – Florence Road – Novara Avenue – Putland Road – Newcourt Road.

Sunday 24th July 2016

There will be Road Closures in place from early and the following roads will be closed:

Seapoint Road -Quinnsborough Road – Florence Road – Novara Avenue – Putland Road – Newcourt Road – Vevay Road – Lower Dargle Road.  There will be restrictions on other roads in the area also. 

Spectators travelling from the South should travel on the N11 passing Kilmacanogue and take Junction 7 (Bray South) and follow signposts for Greystones.  Parking will be provided at the IDA Industrial Estate and Ballywaltrim Recreational Park (access at Shoreline Swimming Pool).  Both of these car parks will be serviced by shuttle buses which will take them to the Event and back following the event.  The old Dell Car Park (Boghall Road) will also be available but this will not be serviced by shuttle bus.

Spectators travelling from the Dublin Direction should take either Junction 5 (Bray North) or alternatively to Junction 7 (Bray South).  There will be less parking available on the North of the town and Spectators will have to walk to the Event from the Car Parks. 

The following are the car parks that will be available for traffic coming from Junction 5:
 
St. Thomas’s Community College 
Dargle View Golf Club.

Limited Disabled Parking is available at:
 
St. Thomas’s College Novara Avenue.

Residents will be facilitated with access however they should carry proof of address.

Dublin Bus and Iarnrod Eireann have extra services running on the day .

Spectators are advised to allow plenty of time to get to event as a large crowd is expected.
