An Garda Síochána, Roscommon-Longford in association with Roscommon and Longford County Councils are delighted to announce the launch of their 3rd annual Roscommon-Longford Garda Youth Awards.
The Awards were launched through local newspapers in both counties during the week ending 26 March 2021. This included a press release outlining the details of the Awards and where nomination forms could be accessed. A number of photographs of winners/nominees with members of the Community Policing Units in the Roscommon-Longford Division, in adherence with Covid guidelines were also included.
Nomination forms have been distributed by email to numerous schools and organisations within the Division and forms are available to download off the Western Region Facebook page, the Roscommon and Longford County Council websites and are available in hard copy at Garda stations within the Roscommon-Longford Division.
It is hoped to having them judged in early May with a virtual presentation ceremony at the end of May.
