Today, Monday 29th April, 2024 as part of intelligence-led operations involving Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), DMR North Central Divisional Drugs Unit and the K District Drugs Unit, Revenue Officers seized two separate consignments, with a combined weight of approximately 30kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €610,000 in Dublin.
One male, aged in his 30’s, was arrested by An Garda Síochaná following the seizure of 27 kgs of cannabis herb and is currently being detained at a Garda Station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
In a second operation, two males (aged 24 and a juvenile) were arrested by An Garda Síochaná following the seizure of 3.5 kgs of cannabis herb and are currently being detained at a Garda Station in North Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
