Finance - General Decision Logs - 2024

Under the FOI Act 2014, I am seeking the following:
- the amount levied in fines for non-wearing of masks for each garda district for the calendar year 2021, 2022.
- the amount collected in fines for non-wearing of masks for each garda district for the calendar year 2021, 2022.
- the amount of fines written off for non-wearing of masks for each garda district for the calendar year 2021, 2022.

I wish to apply under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 for the following information relating to finance:

1. The amount spent by AGS on drones/unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or similar in each of the last six years, to include equipment, training and other expenses
2. The number of drones/UAVs purchased by AGS in each of last six years, including their type and individual costs
3. The number of AGS members currently trained in the use of drones/UAVs

• The number of Garda identification cards reported lost by members of AGS from 23 September 2022 to 31 December 2022.
• The number of Garda identification cards reported lost by members of AGS in 2023.
• The number of Garda firearms reported lost by members of AGS from 2019-2023.

1. A list of all transactions between An Garda Síochána and Daniel Technologies LTD since 2013, including details of products purchased during that time and their cost.

1. Please can you provide a breakdown of all FCPNs, charges and summonses issued for the following locations in relation to road traffic offences:
• N17 from Knock to Ballindine; beginning at 53.780681, -8.946664 and ending at 53.677613, -8.964518
• L15032 at Rockfield
• L15037 at Rockfield
• L1518 at Ballybrehony South
• L1503 at Loughanemon/Carrowbeg
• L1519 at Drumneen (South)
• L55517 at Drumneen (South)
• L55517 at Ballinasmaula
• L5551 at Eskerlavalley
• L5551 at Ballinasmaula
• L55513 at Castlegar
• L55512 at Boherduff

(All of the above roads lead onto the N17 which is my location of interest)
Please can you provide a breakdown of the type of FCPNs, charges and summonses such as speeding, holding a mobile phone while driving, dangerous overtaking etc.

Please can you conduct a search for data from 1 January 2019 to 27 March 2024, or a date range as close to this range as possible.

Please can you indicate the revenue collected on foot of the FCPNs and court outcomes and the total number of penalty points endorsed on licenses during the period
2. Please can you also provide a copy of information relation to collisions along the N17 between Knock and Ballindine, including:
• The number of collisions recorded
• A breakdown of the status of each collision (material damage only, potential injury recorded, fatality recorded etc.)
• If a driving offence was suspected in the collision, and if so, the type of offence.
• Total number of fatalities
• Total number of injuries
3. Please can you provide information relating to the number of speed checks carried out by Garda members or by GoSafe or other personnel during the date range in question.
4. Please can you provide information relating to the number of checkpoints including MAT/MIT checkpoints conducted on the N17 between Knock and Ballindine and the number of arrests and vehicle seizures on foot of these checkpoints.
5. Please can you provide copy of any information transferred from An Garda Síochána to the Road Safety Authority in relation to road traffic policing, road traffic collision and road traffic collision and road traffic offences relating to the N17 road.
