Update - Incident of Assault on Mail Coach Road, Sligo. 31st October, 2023.

Gardaí investigating the serious assault on a male youth in his teens that occurred in Sligo town, on the evening of Tuesday, 31st October 2023 have made further arrests.

Two male juveniles, both aged in their teens, were arrested this evening Wednesday 1st November, 2023 and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Sligo.

The male juvenile, arrested earlier today remains in Garda custody. Investigations ongoing.
