Road traffic colision at Colloney, Sligo on the 1/4/14

Gardai in Sligo are investigation a two vehicle road traffic collision, which occurred outside Colloney, Co Sligo on the 1st April 2014.

The collision between a minibus and a van occurred ay 4.45pmm on the Colloney to Ballygawley Rd about nine miles outside Sligo town. The male driver(72yrs) and six teenage passengers in the 1st vehicle (a minibus) and the two adults(in their 30's) and one child in the 2nd vehicle (a van) were taken to Sligo General Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The road was closed but has since reopened.
