Seizure of cannabis plants at Saggart, Co. Dublin on the 14/6/12

Gardai from Swords Garda Station assisted by Gardai from Rathcoole carried out a search of a house in Saggart, Co. Dublin on the 14th June 2012.

During the course of the search Gardai discovered approx 300 cannabis plant with a street value of €240,000 (subject to analysis).

One male in his mid 20's was arrested and detained at Swords Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended. He was charged this evening, the 15th and will appear before Court 44 Chancery Street tomorrow morning, the 16th June 2012 at 10.30am.
