Fatal stabbing in Blanchardstown, Dublin on the 19/6/12

Gardai at Blanchardstown are investigating a fatal stabbing which occurred at Fortlawn Avenue, Blanchardstown shortly after 1.30am this morning 19th June 2012.

The victim in his early 20's, was taken to Connolly Hospital by ambulance, and was pronounced dead a short time later.


The scene is  preserved pending forensic examination by Garda Crime Scene Investigators.


One male in his early 20s, were arrested close to the scene and taken to the Blanchardstown Garda Station, where he is detained under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act 1984.
