Gardai in Carlow are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Leagh, Rathoe Co Carlow on the 14th June 2012
The collision involving two cars occurred at approx 7.25pm at Leagh, Rathoe, which is 3-4 miles ouside Carlow on the Carlow to Wexford Road. The sole occupant of one of the cars a female in her early 30's was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the second car were taken to Kilkenny hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
