As part of ongoing operation into sale and supply of illegal drugs Gardai at Thomastown have seized cannabis plants with an approx street value, pending analysis, of €360,000.
The discovery was made at a house in Ballymorris area of Mullinivat, South Kilkenny in the early hours of this morning 14th June 2012. As part of a planned search a cannabis cultivation operation and in excess of 400 plants were discovered.
Three males (one in his 20's, one 30's and one in his 40's) were arrested at the scene and are currently detained at Thomastown Garda Station under Section 2 Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
