Fatal road traffic collision at Bohola, Mayo on the 26/7/12
Gardai at Swinford are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision at Carrowcastle, Bohola, Co Mayo on the 26th July 2012.
At approximately 5p.m. a male aged in his 20's was seriously injured when the motor van he was travelling in collided with a second van on the R321 at Carrowcastle, Bohola.
The man was taken by ambulance to Mayo General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A second man aged in his 20's was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road is closed pending a full technical examination by forensic collision investigators and diversions are in place.
