The following Traffic Management plan will be put in place for the event from 1400hrs to 2400hrs each day from Friday 30th July 2010 to Sunday 1st August 2010

 

Route access to Concert Venue for  Disabled Vehicles
 
The "Blue Route" will NOT BE USED for Disabled vehicle access to the Concert venue
 Disabled vehicles  will now access the Concert Venue at the Taxi Drop Off point at Oxfield Community  Centre
 
Parking will be available for disabled vehicles
 
Passengers will be brought to the Concert Site by adapted vehicles and returned to this location post event
 
Disabled vehicle badges should be prominently displayed on the windscreen of each vehicle .

Route Access to the concert Venue (Car Parks) - Green Route

Cars traveling South on N.15 (from Grange direction) will turn right at Mullaghnaneane Cross and follow the signs and Garda directions for Car parks.  There will be no “drop off” facility available on this route and vehicles entering the route will travel direct to the Car parks where they will remain until the end of the concert.  Vehicles will travel away from the event on the same route exiting on to N.15 at Mullaghnaneane Cross.

Cars traveling North on N.15 ( from Sligo direction) will turn left on slip road near Mullaghnaneane Cross and follow signs and Garda directions  for Car parks. There will be no “drop off” facility available on this route and vehicles entering the route will travel direct to the Car parks where they will remain until the end of the concert.  Vehicles will travel away from the event on the same route exiting on to N.15 at Mullaghnaneane Cross.

Route access to Concert Venue for Buses/Coaches.  (Blue Route)

 Buses and coaches  travelling  on N.15 (from North and South) will use the Rahelly Road (Blue Route) to follow the directional signs to the Coach Park.  

Route access to Concert Venue for Disabled Vehicles

Taxi Drop Off

All Taxis will use the Taxi Drop Off  point at Milltown (Oxfield Park) from where a Shuttle Bus Service will operate to the concert venue  There will no Taxi drop off facility at the concert site.

Access to Carney Village

Access to Carney village for business purposes, etc, will be via the Milltown Road.  Exit route from Carney Village will be via Drumcliffe Road.  No Concert site access is permitted through Carney Village.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The Gardai encourage all patrons attending the Concerts to avail of Buses, Coaches and Taxi’s/Shuttle Bus for travel to and from the Concerts.
  • No vehicular access will be permitted along the Red Route (Emergency Route) from Drumcliffe to the Concert venue.
  • The Gardai urge all patrons to allow adequate time for travel to the Concerts.
  • There will be no vehicle drop off permitted at the concert site other than Shuttle Buses and Coaches/Buses already authorized
  • Any vehicle found to be causing an obstruction on any route or surrounding roadway will be subject to “tow away”.  The associated costs involved will be borne by the vehicle owner or driver.
