Renewed appeal - 5th anniversary of the murder of James Cahillane, Kerry

On the 19th April 2012, James Cahillane was discovered dead at his home at Ardraw, Beaufort, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
On the 18th April 2012 James Cahillane spent a number of hours in a pub in Killorglin before getting a taxi home, which is a rural area approximately 5kms from Killorglin.
 
At about 2:05am on the 19th April 2012 neighbours noticed a fire at the home of James Cahillane. The fire services attended and the body of James Cahillane was discovered at the scene.
 
Following a post mortem examination a murder investigation commenced and despite great assistance provided by the public this crime remains unsolved. 
 
On the 5th anniversary of this crime, a further appeal is being made for information. This investigation will be featured in the upcoming edition of Crime Call which will be aired on Monday the 24th April 2017.
