Males Charged - Drug seizure and arrests in Fermoy, Cork on the 15/4/17

Gardaí in Fermoy investigating the seizure of cannabis plants in Fermoy on the 15th April 2017 have charged three males.
They will appear before a special sitting of Mallow District Court at 12 midday on the 17th April 2017.

As part of a joint operation with Gardaí from Fermoy and Portlaoise a house was searched at Rathealy Road, Fermoy on the 15th April 2017.

During the course of the search Gardaí discovered approximately 320 cannabis plants with an approximate street value of €250,000.
Three males (38, 51 and 55 years) were arrested and are currently being detained at Fermoy, Cobh and Mallow Garda stations under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended. Investigations are on going.
