Woman charged - Assault in Drumcondra, Dublin on the 3/1/17

Gardaí have charged a woman, 33 years, in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred on Lower Drumcondra Road, Dublin on Tuesday evening, 3rd January 2017.

The woman is due to appear before Dublin District Court 1, Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Friday 6th January 2017 at 10.30am
 
The woman was arrested in Dublin on Wednesday night, 4th January 2017 shortly before 10pm. She was detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. She remains in Garda custody.
 
During the incident a woman, aged in her 30’s, received a number of stab wounds when she was attacked and robbed by another woman on Lower Drumcondra Road. The injured woman was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí have arrested a woman, aged in her 30's, in connection with the investigation into a robbery and serious assault that occurred on Lower Drumcondra Road, Dublin on Tuesday evening, 3rd January 2017.

The woman was arrested in Dublin last night, Wednesday 4th January 2017 shortly before 10pm. She is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
 
During the incident a woman, aged in her 30’s, received a number of stab wounds when she was attacked and robbed by another woman on Lower Drumcondra Road. The injured woman was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment.
 
The prompt action of Gardaí on foot patrol, who assisted the injured woman, greatly assisted in this early arrest.

Gardaí at Mountjoy in Dublin are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault which occurred on Lower Drumcondra Road between 5pm and 5.30pm yesterday evening, Tuesday 3rd January 2017.

A female in her 30’s received a number of stab wounds when she was attacked by another female at the above location. The injured person was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment.
 
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, they are particularly appealing to anybody who was in the vicinity of Drumcondra Road Lower between Clonliffe Road and the Archbishops House between 5pm and 5.30pm yesterday to contact the incident room at Mountjoy Garda Station on 01-666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
